about

Day after day... is our first attempt as an album. Two months before recording it we didn't even think about making one! It happenned like that, we did it without a second thought. We met Sebastien Czeryba, a sound ingeneer and a musician. He listened to the only two barely mixed titles we made with an old analogic 8 lines recorder so far and the next month we shut ourselves away in Antony's house basement to record drums parts. With a calendar and budget more tight than the corset of our great-grandmothers, we tried to bring out the best from what we composed until then.

At this period of time, we barely knew how to play together. This album is tinged with candor mixed with spontaneity sometimes confused by our musical inexperience. It is the very sincerity of our joy outburst that aroused in us every note of guitar randomly played to find the one who married best with the previous one. There is no effect escalation; no studio effects in these songs. Sometimes wrote from a bass line or from a drum pattern, every composition is an universe for itself. Nevertheless, even every one of them was composed at different periods of our young band, they succeed to coexist inside of this humble production.

We awkwardly named it “day after day... all takes another way” because that's the way it goes.

about

Formed the 31st December 2005, Eepocampe explores a clearly, well-delimited musical universe, and brings us a sound that is not usually exploited. Largely influenced by the Post Rock and Alternative Rock, their compositions come out in a progressive way where harmonious melodies come with alternative rhythm sections. The exhilarating arrangements sometimes gives way to the vocal expression. ... more
