Elliot Goldenthal est sans nul doute notre toute première, vraie composition instrumentale. C'est aussi l'une des chansons que nous avons le plus rapidement composée, le genre de chanson sur lequel on ne revient que très peu pour peaufiner les arrangements tellement l'atmosphère principale nous a paru prenante. Enthousiasmé par l'acquisition d'une nouvelle pédale Delay, Alex trouva vite comment en tirer pleinement partie. La guitare repose d'ailleurs entièrement sur cet effet. Tout fût vraiment instinctif lors de la composition de ce morceau et c'est vraiment incroyable de l'avoir vécu ainsi. Nous avons pratiquement écrit simultanément nos trois parties.

L'atmosphère planante de ce morceau nous fait pensé à certaines musiques du compositeur Américain Elliot Goldenthal. Nous sommes vraiment fans de ses bandes originales et en hommage à son oeuvre et aux musiques de films qu'il crée et que nous aimons tant, nous avons donné son nom à notre chanson.
